Going to a bilingual elementary school in Laval near Montreal introduced me the English language and to cultural diversity early on in my life. It also triggered my lifelong passion for cultures and languages.
I completed a Diploma of College Studies in modern languages in Trois-Rivières before heading to the Université de Sherbrooke where I completed a multidisciplinary B.A in translation, English and French literatures and languages as well as a Master's Degree in Canadian Comparative Literature.
I did my first translation project back in 2002 and worked on literary and general translation projects while completing my university education in Sherbrooke. I am now living in Trois-Rivières, Québec, and working full-time as a freelance translator since September 2011.

My M.A. Thesis about science fiction and environmental literary criticism has been published by Lambert Academic Publishing last week!
